Strawberry Plant Blog

 My strawberry plant continues to do very well. It saw significant growth over break, as my passive water delivery device kept it well watered. I have kept it in the same place since bringing it home because it is doing so well. I am continuing to water it every day. 

 My strawberry plant is doing well. I've kept it in the same spot since bringing it in, considering it is exhibiting substantial growth. It has grown three new leaves, and looks very healthy. The capsule that you can see in the picture is a device that allows me to passively deliver water to the soil. I've left it in for the week since I went home for Thanksgiving break. I've used it in the past for other plants and it has worked quite well. 

I had a wonderful experience potting my strawberry plant with Dr. Merchant. I was able to safely transport the plant back to my apartment, where I placed it in front of a south facing window. This window is ideal for my plant as it receives direct sunlight throughout the entire day. Since bringing it home, my plant has already displayed substantial new leaf growth. I don't believe that there are any significant threats to my plant in the location that it currently sits. I was able to successfully grow a healthy tomato plant in the same location last year with no issues.
